Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine
Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine Featured Two of Our Beers in “The Malt Is the Message” Spring 2024 Issue. Read what their editors thought:
- Hungry Are the Damned: “Very subtle breadcrust nose with faint chocolate tones and a bit of tangerine. Slightly astringent, with assertive malt tannins. Lighter bitterness without excessive sweetness.”
– 90 Points!
– Hungry are the Damned review in Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine - Apothecary Porter: “Syrupy in the pour with prominent legs that linger on the side of the glass. Deep chocolate aroma with an almost barrel-like boozy coconut note. Sweeter and simpler in the sip, with big milk chocolate and coconut braced by the slightest hint of bitter chocolate.”
– 87 Points

Birdies & Brews:
We recently attended Birdies & Brews, a charity golf tournament and beer tasting created to honor the memory of Sherry & David Royall. The mission of Birdies & Brews is simple: to raise money for cancer research while golfing and enjoying a beer with friends- two things Sherry and David Royall enjoyed doing together. We took Tuxedo at a Pool Party German Pilsner, Kolsch, Pōtae NZ Thiolized Hazy IPA, and Squad Deep West Coast IPA. Tuxedo was the crowd favorite but they were all well received. By the end of the tournament, we had only a few Kolsch left!
