April Adventures

At Blackbird Brewery, every sip tells a story and every event is a celebration of community and craft. As we embark on another exciting month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to a lineup of exceptional brews and engaging events that will delight your senses and ignite your passion for great beer. Here’s a sneak peek at what the Month of April has in store:

Beer Updates

Here at Blackbird Brewery, we’re always on the lookout for exciting new combinations of hops to tantalize your taste buds. We’re thrilled to highlight one of our latest creations: Chimcoe – a West Coast IPA that’s sure to make waves with its fruit-forward medley dancing across your palate with each sip, balanced by a crisp, effervescent body that finishes delightfully dry.

Sunshine Sour

As temperatures continue to rise, we are excited to announce the return of Sunshine Sour Ale – Ambrosia Salad Smoothie Sour. This ale was crafted with a generous infusion of pineapple, orange, apricot, and marshmallow, creating delicious notes reminiscent of ambrosia salad.

Polo Czech Polotmavý Amber Lager

If you are in the mood for a darker, malty variety, then let us introduce you to Polo! This Czech Polotmavý Amber Lager strikes the perfect balance between a Pilsner and a Dark Lager (Polotmavý translates as half-dark). We’ve crafted it with imported Czech malts, double decoction mashed, and hopped with Czech Saaz and Kazbek hops for that classic lager flavor with a twist. After 11 weeks of maturation, Polo emerges naturally carbonated and clarified to perfection.

Blood, Sweat, and Swears is more than just a Cold IPA; it’s a testament to collaboration, community, and the indomitable spirit of women in the industry. Blackbird Brewery welcomed the RDU Chapter of the Pink Boots Society for their 7th annual Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day (CBD), an event celebrating the influence of women and non-binary individuals in the industry. The brewing team commits to donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales to The Pink Boots Society. These funds will support scholarships geared towards enhancing the professional development and educational prospects for women and non-binary individuals in the brewing community, reflecting Pink Boots’ mission to offer aid, motivation, and support. RDU Chapter’s Pink Boots Society was Represented By: Bombshell Beer Company, Raleigh Brewing Company, Mason Jar Lager Co., Durty Bull Brewing Company, The Burnt Barrel, Beer Tooth Taproom, Atlantic Brew Supply, Red Moose Brewing Co., and Tap Station.

As with all things fresh, the availability or our beers is subject to change. We recommend checking our Beer page for the most current offerings. Planning a visit? Be sure to review our live inventory for real-time updates before hitting the road.
