That’s why we’re proud to team up with Plexus Capital for the 10th Anniversary of Hops for Hope, a one-of-a-kind fundraiser supporting Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH).
This celebration is about giving children with serious medical needs the most powerful thing we can offer: access to care.
About Children’s Flight of Hope
Children’s Flight of Hope provides more than transportation—they deliver access to hope. By funding flights to specialized medical care for children battling rare and serious conditions, CFOH helps eliminate the financial and logistical barriers that stand between families and the life-saving treatment their children need. Whether it’s one flight or dozens over the course of a child’s journey, CFOH ensures that distance and cost are never the reason a child goes without care.

Meet Nevaeh: Our CFOH Passenger
This year, our fundraising efforts are flying with a very special passenger: Nevaeh, a brave 4-year-old from North Carolina.
Nevaeh was born with multiple life-threatening heart defects, including pulmonary vein stenosis and coarctation of the aorta. She underwent her first open-heart surgery at just 12 days old.
Since then, she’s endured more than 15 cardiac catheterizations, survived cardiac arrest, and spent time on ECMO (a form of life support). She and her family have flown over 30 times to Boston Children’s Hospital—all thanks to CFOH and the generosity of donors like you.
Supporting Nevaeh means supporting a real, living story of resilience, love, and hope. And she’s just one of many children your donation can help.
From Pints to Purpose: The $10K Challenge
Behind every flight of beer… is a child who needs a flight to care.
In honor of 10 years of Hops for Hope, each participating team is taking on the $10K Challenge—and Blackbird Brewery, in partnership with Plexus Capital, is all in. Our goal? To raise $10,000 for Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH), helping kids like Nevaeh access life-saving medical treatment, no matter how far they have to travel or how often they need to go.
From now until the big celebration on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 2–6PM at Midtown Park in North Hills, we’re calling on our community to help us turn craft beer into care. Every dollar donated breaks down a barrier between a child and the medical care they deserve.
Cornhole for a Cause: Save the Date (August 16th)
Want to get involved before the big event? Join us for a Cornhole Tournament with Plexus Capital on Saturday, August 16! It will be a fun-filled day of friendly competition, cold beer, and community spirit—with proceeds benefiting Hops for Hope. Stay tuned for more details and get ready to toss some bags for a truly amazing cause.
