It’s hard to believe, but Blackbird Brewery is turning TWO—and we’re celebrating the only way we know how: with an Anniversary Weekend Extravaganza packed full of everything we love. Think: exceptional beer, incredible live music, crave-worthy food, and most importantly, the amazing community that made it all possible. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re just discovering Blackbird for the first time, you’re invited to join the fun on April 26th and 27th. From exclusive brewery tours to live performances and special releases, here’s a look at everything we’ve got planned for this unforgettable weekend.
SATURDAY FESTIVITIES
Behind-the-Scenes Brewery Tours
Curious how grain, water, hops, and yeast become the pint in your hand? Nerd out with our brewers extraordinaire, Ian and Mikey, on an intimate, behind-the-scenes tour of Blackbird Brewery. We’re diving deep into the brewing process—from our mash tun to the fermenters—and sharing the techniques, equipment, and creative decisions that make our beer unique.
Each 45-minute session is capped at just 15 guests to keep things immersive and hands-on. Your ticket includes the tour, a brewer-led tasting, and a commemorative glass to take home. Tour times are at 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM—spots are limited, so reserve your ticket now!
Live Music All Day
We’ve got a stacked lineup to keep the vibes high from noon to night:
- 12–3 PM: School of Rock – Kick off the day with high-energy performances from the talented students of School of Rock. These rising stars might be young, but they’re bringing big sound and serious skills to the stage.
- 4–7 PM: Duopoly – Get ready for an electrifying set packed with rock and pop classics, original compositions, and a few jazz-inspired moments to keep things fresh. With their lush harmonies and dynamic sound, Duopoly brings an unforgettable blend of energy and musicianship that will keep you grooving all evening long!
- 7–10 PM: K-Bomb & the Kool Whips – Move and groove with this powerhouse band that brings the ultimate party vibe, blending classic hits and modern favorites into an electrifying mix that will keep you dancing all night. With infectious energy and a knack for creating an uncontainable fun atmosphere, get ready for an unforgettable night of funk, soul, and non-stop beats!
Food from Fishin’ Shrimp
Flavor for days! Our friends at Fishin’ Shrimp will be onsite from 1-5 PM serving coastal comfort at its finest. Their food sells out fast so make sure to preorder your meal!
Seafood Boils for 2 or 4 – A mouthwatering mix of snow crab legs, jumbo shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes, all perfectly seasoned and served with plenty of cocktail sauce. It’s bold, buttery, and made to share—the kind of feast that brings people together and keeps them talking.

Sunday from 3-6 PM, join us for an open mic hosted by the incomparable Adam Lee Decker. Whether you’re a performer or a spectator, this is your chance to cheer on the brave souls who’ll take the stage. It’s all about good vibes, great talent, and a community of people celebrating creativity together. Come grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy the show!
