Blackbird Galentine’s Market ~ Saturday, February 7, 1pm-4pm
Bring all your besties to Blackbird Brewery for a Galentine’s Sip and Shop market hosted by Be Like Missy! Sip on delicious craft beer, tasty wine, and bubbly selections (NA drinks available as well) while experiencing our intimate vendor market. Expect vendors and local artisans displaying permanent jewelry, a design your own earrings bar, crocheted loveys, handmade home decor, gorgeous houseplants, luxury soaps, candles, and more!
Valentine’s Jazz Cabaret w/ Miss Candice ~ Saturday, February 7, 7pm-9pm (at Bird’s Nest)
Miss Candice, the vinyl voice of vintage jazz and showtunes, has been delighting guests at Bird’s Nest for a year now, bringing something truly unique to an evening in Wake Forest. Bring your lover or your crew. Seating is limited, particularly for groups, and reservations for Miss Candice are STRONGLY recommended. Wine Tasting: Join us for a free wine tasting hosted by Advintage, led by rep Lance Horne from 6-8 PM.
Chair Massages: Unwind with a 15-minute chair massage from Jacob Hall Holistic Healing. Sessions available 5:30-8 PM. Donations and tips are encouraged, gratitude is guaranteed.

Our monthly Farmers Market, hosted by the Family Bee’s-ness every second Saturday falls on Valentine’s Day this year. Come shop from 4:30pm-7:30pm and support this incredible local family farm. Their own ethically-raised, farm fresh products are perfect for your grocery shopping or treating yourself.
We’ve got the incredible Story Charlemagne back at the taproom to provide a Valentine’s Day soundtrack for all you lovebirds. His music is the definition of smooth and soulful. Enjoy an evening filled with the sound of his phenomenal original takes on popular songs that you already know and love.
SouthWitch Love Spell Candle Workshop ~ Saturday, February 21, 3pm-5pm
SouthWitch brings to Blackbird an intimate, heart-centered, creative ritual focused on self-love, softness, and reconnection. In this guided workshop, you’ll create a 4 oz self-love intention candle infused with crystals, a body wax altar figurine to honor and reconnect with your body, and wax melts infused with intention to take your ritual beyond the class. This session is a time to slow down, exhale, and choose yourself — without pressure or perfection. No experience is needed. Come solo, partnered, quiet, loud, or exactly as you are. All materials are provided. You’ll be gently guided through intention-setting and the creative process in a warm, inclusive environment. Tickets are limited to keep the space intimate. We’ve got plenty of other rousing events happening this month at the brewery and the cocktail bar. A bunch of the classic monthly events you know and love are coming back, as well as some thrilling new events to keep you entertained. Here’s what’s coming up:
Sunday Jazz w/ Janna Badalian ~ Sunday, February 1, 3pm-6pm
Once a month at Blackbird, we shake away those Sunday scaries with soothing jazz compositions by incredible local artists. This February, jazz singer and songwriter Janna Badalian is bringing her unique blend of jazz, blues, bossa nova, and original songs (in English & Russian) to the taproom! Trained across Russia in classical guitar, jazz vocals, and Bel Canto singing, Janna’s performances are a rare mix of technical skill and heartfelt storytelling. Expect a mix of original songs, jazz standards, international favorites, and even the occasional opera aria—self-accompanied on guitar! Bring your friends, grab a brew, and enjoy an afternoon of music you won’t forget.
Book Club ~ Wednesday, February 4, 5pm-10pm (at Bird’s Nest)
Join us at Bird’s Nest at Blackbird for Book Club, held every first Wednesday of the month. Bring your favorite book, sip on a cocktail, and settle in for a cozy evening. Read at the bar, join a table with fellow book lovers, or start a spontaneous discussion—it’s entirely up to you. Each guest will receive a special bookmark! Hold onto it, and when you return next month, show it at the bar to unlock our secret Book Club menu.
Closing Early for Super Bowl Sunday ~ Sunday, February 8, at 6pm
Blackbird Brewery and Bird’s Nest will be closing early for Super Bowl Sunday. Blackbird will be open 12pm-6pm and Bird’s Nest will be open 2pm-6pm. Stop in and enjoy the afternoon with us before the big game. And don’t forget to grab beer from our to-go fridge to drink at your Super Bowl parties!
Crokinole Night ~ Wednesday, February 11, 6pm-8pm
Join us for Crokinole Night every second Wednesday hosted by the Triangle Crokinole Club at Blackbird Brewery! Crokinole is an exhilarating tabletop game that blends elements of shuffleboard and curling with precision and strategy. This event is open to all new participants! No knowledge or experience required! Our Crokinole organizers are friendly and enthusiastic about sharing this game with newcomers. The organizers provide the board and all necessary game materials – just show up and enjoy! Crokinole Night is a fun, great event to meet new people and enjoy a lesser known game with a delicious beverage in hand.
Open Mic hosted by Adam Lee Decker ~ Sunday, February 15, 3pm-6pm
Once a month at Blackbird, Adam Lee Decker hosts Open Mic! This event is a wonderful way to enjoy a Sunday with a variety of tunes, a beverage in hand, and good vibes all around. Any artist is welcome to perform a couple songs, no prior sign-ups necessary. Adam brings a medley of incredible local artists to end your weekend in the most entertaining way.

It Has To Be Love
