As August approaches, Blackbird Brewery is excited to welcome the sunshine and celebrate the end of summer with all of you! After nearly ten inches of rain over the past few weeks, we’re ready to embrace the clear skies and warm days. Our August lineup features the return of past favorite beers, a giant pool party, the farmers market, open mic night, and loads of live music you know and love. Join us in savoring the final stretch of summer with a whirlwind of excitement and celebration at Blackbird Brewery. The days are warm, but the beer is cold—perfect for making the most of the season!

New Releases

Point Break – West Coast IPA:
This IPA features Citra and Ahhhroma hops for a bright lemony grapefruit citrus vibe, complemented by a dank and resinous undertone from Mosaic hops. With a 6.8% ABV, it’s a well-executed West Coast IPA perfect for a refreshing break.
Birdopramen – Czech Pilsner:
This Czech Pilsner is crafted using a five-hour triple decoction mash process with Czech Prostejov malt, then hopped with Saaz and Kazbek for a rich, flavorful profile. Fermented cold and matured in a horizontal tank, it delivers rustic nuances and natural carbonation at 5.0% ABV.
Get Pitted – West Coast IPA:
This West Coast IPA features Citra, Simcoe, and Riwaka hops for a pungent and classic hop character on a dry and crisp malt base. Perfect for a post-surf refreshment, it boasts a 6.8% ABV.

The return of Yellow Submarine and Tuxedo at a Pool Party:
We are thrilled to announce the return of two of our most popular beers in August: Yellow Submarine and Tuxedo at a Pool Party. Yellow Submarine, a hazy IPA, is already out and ready for you to enjoy. It’s double dry-hopped with Citra, featuring a creamy oat malt and London yeast base for a juicy, opaque experience. Tuxedo at a Pool Party, a German Pilsner, will be re-released at the end of the month. This European Pilsner is crafted with German malt step-mashed with a single decoction, then hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Saphir. It undergoes an 8-week maturation process in horizontal tanks for natural carbonation and a refined finish.

We’re thrilled to announce the return of our Crokinole League, Farmers’ Market hosted by Family Bee’s-ness LLC, and an open mic night hosted by the talented Adam Lee Decker, where you can cheer on brave performers or take the stage yourself. For the bourbon aficionados, our bourbon tasting event is a must-attend, providing a chance to sample and savor a selection of fine bourbons. To wrap up the month, we’re throwing an adults-only pool party to celebrate the re-release of our beloved Tuxedo at a Pool Party German Pilsner.

Crokinole Returns to Blackbird Brewery August 7th 6-8PM

Our first event in July was a success, and we look forward to welcoming you to our second session! Join us for the Crokinole League at Blackbird Brewery! This exciting tabletop game combines shuffleboard and curling, requiring both precision and strategy. All skill levels are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Boards are provided, and we meet monthly from 6-8 PM. Come and enjoy an evening of fun and friendly competition with friends!

Farmers Market Hosted by The Family Bee’s-ness LLC August 10th 4:30-7:30PM

Support local farmers and artisans while sipping on a cold beverage! The Family Bee’s-ness LLC will be our hosts, offering grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, raw honey, elderberry syrup, soap, and many other products.
