Oktoberfest is back, and there’s no better place to celebrate than Blackbird Brewery! Bring your friends, family, and festive spirit for a day full of music, food, and fun in the biergarten. From local brews to live tunes and activities for all ages, this is the perfect way to toast the season.
Stick and Poke Beers: A Sweet Twist on Tradition

Have you ever wondered what gives some beers that irresistible frothy crown? Enter Stick and Poke Beers. This centuries-old technique involves carefully caramelizing the malt sugars with a hot poker, creating a sweet, foamy layer that makes every sip a little more magical. Think of it as the cherry on top—but, you know, beer-flavored. It’s definitely a must-try for adventurous palates.
Stein Holding Contest: Strength, Stamina, and Bragging Rights

Do you have what it takes to hold your beer like a true Oktoberfest champion? During our Stein Holding Contest (taking place at 3 PM and 5 PM), participants grip a full stein at arm’s length and see who can hold it the longest. It’s harder than it looks, and yes, it counts as a workout. Win, and you earn not only bragging rights but eternal street cred as the strongest beer lover in our biergarten.

FAQ
How does parking work?
You can park in our main lot, the back lot behind the brewery, or the gravel lot across Rogers Branch Road. Heads up—parking tends to fill up faster than a stein at Oktoberfest. If you can, carpool, ride your bike, or just strut on over—you’ll save yourself a lot of circling and stress.

Can I wear lederhosen or a dirndl?
Absolutely! Bonus points if you can dance the polka without spilling your beer. Extra bonus points if you get everyone else to join in.
Are kids allowed?
Kids are welcome, but they must stay within eight feet of their parents (no sudden sprinting into the beer lines, please). Think of it as a “leash law” without the leash.
How many beers is too many?
Trick question… There’s no wrong answer, but we recommend pacing yourself so you can enjoy the music, games, and brats without face-planting into the pretzel station.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Your furry friend can join the fun in the biergarten, but the taproom is off-limits. Basically, dogs get the patio VIP section—you’re welcome.
Can I play a soccer game in the biergarten?
Nice try, but nope. Soccer, football, or impromptu monkey business is off-limits. We love energy, just not flying soccer balls near our pints. Keep it safe and let your inner beer enthusiast shine instead.
