This past August, we teamed up with Plexus Capital to host three back-to-back events in support of Hops for Hope, a fundraiser benefiting Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH). In honor of Hops for Hope’s 10th anniversary, we took on their $10K Challenge—and thanks to the generosity of our community, we surpassed our goal, raising $13,000 to support Nevaeh, a remarkable 4-year-old from North Carolina.
Hops for Hope: Brewing Up Hops
Hops for Hope brings together local breweries and corporate teams to craft one-of-a-kind beers and then hosts a family-friendly beer festival to showcase them. It’s a chance for beer lovers, businesses, and neighbors to come together in support of CFOH.
This year, we hosted a cornhole tournament, comedy night, and karaoke night, each filled with fun, community spirit, and plenty of cold brews.
A unique part of this fundraiser is that each brewery “adopts” a child—all of our proceeds went directly to Nevaeh. With your support, we were able to help cover her flights to Boston Children’s Hospital, ensuring she can continue receiving the critical care she needs.
Flying for Nevaeh
Nevaeh is a brave 4-year-old who has faced incredible medical challenges from the very beginning. Born with severe heart defects—coarctation of the aorta and pulmonary vein stenosis—she underwent her first open-heart surgery just 12 days after birth. Since then, she has endured more than 15 cardiac catheterizations, survived cardiac arrest, experienced multiple intubations, and spent time on ECMO.
Thanks to Children’s Flight of Hope, Nevaeh and her family have taken over 30 flights since 2021, giving her access to the specialized care she needs while keeping her loved ones close. CFOH removes obstacles of distance and cost, making life-saving treatment possible for children like Nevaeh—with compassion, support, and hope every step of the way.

A Toast to Community and Hope
From cornhole tosses to karaoke and comedy, our Hops for Hope events were filled with community spirit, great brews, and generous hearts. Seeing neighbors, friends, and local businesses come together for a cause bigger than all of us was truly inspiring.
We’re so proud to have been part of this journey, helping to provide Nevaeh with the care she needs and raising over $13,000 for a brighter, healthier future. Here’s to raising glasses, raising hope, and raising spirits—together, we can make every flight a step toward healing.
