Mixology expert Kelly Murphy will lead the Cook’s Mill Cocktail Class, sharing tips and techniques so you can create your own cocktail masterpieces. This hands-on experience will have you crafting signature drinks while exploring the deep-rooted history of Cook’s Mill Whiskey. Alamance County is home to Cook’s Mill Whiskey, crafted with a 350-year distillation tradition, older than any other whiskey distillation process in the US. Their whiskey is aged in American White Oak and distilled from Carolina grown corn and rye, providing premium quality & award-winning taste.
We are thrilled to welcome Kelly Murphy from Cook’s Mill to the Bird’s Nest for an intimate tasting experience. Kelly will lead us through the history and process of Cook’s Mill Whiskey, and talk more about the special distillation process that sets Cook’s Mill apart. Kelly has created three cocktail recipes to showcase this beautiful whiskey in something other than the traditional Old Fashioned!
