Charlie Galuten was diagnosed with leukemia in 2018 when he was 3-1/2 years old. He received 9 units of blood and 15 units of platelets in his first 10 months of treatment alone. His mother, Jill, also received 6 units of blood during child birth. In Charlie’s honor, The Blood Connection will contribute $10 to  the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for every donation made.
