Blood Drive – Supporting Blood Cancer United

Beer tastes better after saving lives! Blackbird is partnering with The Blood Connection to sponsor a blood drive at our brewery (3608 Rogers Branch Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587).

Each donor will receive a $5 Blackbird gift card and $30 in rewards. For this Blood Drive, as a part of the TBC Cares program, if we reach our goal of 30 donors, $500 will be donated to an organization of our choice. Our close partner, Perry Farms, is one of our favorite local suppliers of malt and barley. Tim Kuhl, President of Perry Farms, requested to team up and fundraise in his son’s honor. Levi Keul previously battled blood cancer and wished for Blood Cancer United to be the recipient of this month’s blood drive efforts.

Each blood donation saves up to three lives! Donors need to be at least 16 years old (16- & 17-year-olds need a permission slip which will be available at the blood drive), weigh at least 110 pounds, have ID and be in general good health.

Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are preferred. Register to help us reach our goal!
