Blackbird Brewery is pouring beer at the LIVE at Lake Raleigh performance on May 7 hosted by NC State University.

The free, family-friendly concert series on the picturesque shore of Lake Raleigh returns Thursday evenings in April and May of 2026. This collaboration between NC State LIVE and Centennial Campus Placemaking celebrates the unique voices of North Carolina’s extraordinary music scene.

Location: On the shore of Lake Raleigh, at the corner of Main Campus Drive & Campus Shore Drive. Free parking after 5pm. See illustrated map here.

Gates open at 5pm and food trucks are available to the public at this time.

Live Music begins at 6pm with Laura Gonzqui performing a set filled with latin-fusion rhythm, captivating audiences with her voice and rich musical roots. Experience her journey through jazz, soul, blues, salsa, and world music.

Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs (and non-perishable food donations for Feed the Pack‘s food pantry) and expect a family-friendly good time.
