Blood Drive/AFE Awareness Day

AFE Awareness Day is held once a year to bring light to a rare, but highly deadly condition that can occur spontaneously during childbirth. Harmony, our owner, was one of the 1 in 40,000 who experienced this wild random occurrence. Fortunately, thanks to amazing physicians and lots of blood on hand, she survived.
On March 27, we will be collecting donations for the AFE Foundation to continue their research and legislative work to improve the outcomes of an AFE and hopefully, one day, discover a predictable predisposing factor. If you are terrified of needles or just can’t donate blood, consider donating to the foundation. We will give back 10% of our sales that day on top of the individual donations. For all our blood donors out there, let’s beat our 34-unit blood collection from January! This time our goal is 40 units. All blood donors will also receive 400 BONUS points* ($10 eGift card)! Every donor in March will receive a scratch-off ticket to reveal ANOTHER bonus prize ($10 value). We will be giving $5 Blackbird Brewery gift cards to all donors as well.
